Hey. How’s it going? I hope you are doing well.

My name, as if the website did not already give it away, is Kevin McGuire. I am based out of the Philadelphia where I was born and raised, although without a detour to the west coast once a couple of guys were up to no good and started making trouble in my neighborhood. I tend to spend the bulk of my time covering college football in some capacity, whether in the form of news updates, blogging commentary, podcasting or even some video work.  I have been a fan of the sport of college football for over 20 years now and have covered it professionally in one way or another since 2009. My work covering college football can primarily be found today on NBC Sports as well as on Athlon Sports, Awful Announcing, The Comeback and CBS Local sites across the country (the bulk of which appeared on CBS Philly). Previously, my work has also been read on Medium, Bleacher Report, Yahoo! Sports and Examiner.com. I have also been hosting my own college football podcast (No 2-Minute Warning), which has been made available on iTunes, Google Play and iHeart Radio.

College football may seem like my bread and butter, and that’s because it is. It is not, however, the only sport I have covered. I have covered the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and NCAA men’s basketball in addition to being part of the coverage team for events like the World Cup and the Olympics. No topic is out of bounds for me, and I am always eager to learn as I go where needed. I also have no fear in dabbling in less mainstream ventures like video game streaming.

Finding new ways to reach a new potential audience is essential in today’s media world, and I am always willing to try whatever comes next. This is why you may have found me by using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube or Twitch.
